Our mission from day one was to provide holistic wellbeing rituals, as well as drive positive change for people and planet. Our B Corp certification shows our commitment to do business the right way.
B Corp Certification means a company has been verified as meeting B Lab’s high standards for social and environmental impact. The B Corp Community includes 5,000 businesses in 84 countries and covers 157 industries.
The B Corp certification involves a rigorous assessment process designed to evaluate a business’s social, environmental performance, accountability and transparency. The assessment is split into impact areas of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers – and reviews every aspect of a business, from ingredient sourcing, to packaging, to employee benefits. Plantopia are so proud to have achieved this certification in our very first year and will continue to advocate for better standards of business within the wellness community.
B Corp Certification does not mean that a company is perfect, nor that it has achieved its highest impact. It does show that it is part of a global community of businesses working collectively for economic systems change, and that in order to stay committed to this work it must meet rising standards for social and environmental performance.
In order to maintain certification, Plantopia will undertake the assessment and verification process every three years, demonstrating we are still meeting B Lab’s standards which are themselves always improving.

Our Plantopia team can take 3 days a year to volunteer and have a positive impact in their communities in whichever way they choose. We also partner with On Hand, an inspiring business for corporate volunteering and sustainability action.

B Corp certification requires a B Impact Assessment (BIA) score of 80+ points. It’s rare to achieve this first time and most businesses will spend time improving their score.
We’re delighted to have achieved 80.2 points with our first assessment and have already started to look at how we can improve. We will continue to deliver our mission of providing holistic wellbeing, whilst driving positive change for people and planet.
