SHIPPING & DELIVERY

  • What is Standard Delivery?

    Free Standard Delivery and Standard Delivery are both shipped 2nd Class through Royal Mail.

    Additional delivery options are available. For Express and Next Day Delivery, please order before 2pm and select at checkout for next two working days or next working day services respectively.

    You will receive tracking information after you place your order so you can keep a track of your Plantopia delivery journey.

  • Does Plantopia ship to my country?

    At this moment in time, Plantopia only ships to addresses within the UK. If you would like to see Plantopia shipped to a different country, please send us a message via Contact Us to let us know.

  • Where can I buy Plantopia products?

    Plantopia is currently exclusively available to buy online at plantopialife.com.

    Please let us know where you shop and would like to see us in future.

  • Where is my order?

    Free Standard Delivery and Standard Delivery orders can take up to 5 working days to be delivered.

    For Express and Next Day Delivery, please order before 2pm and select at checkout for next two working days or next working day services respectively.

    You will receive tracking information after you place your order so you can keep a track of your Plantopia delivery journey.

  • Why have I not received any text / email updates on my order?

    Tracking information will be sent to you after you have placed your Plantopia order.

    If you do not receive, please use the Contact Us page and we will be happy to help you.

    Sometimes Plantopia emails can find themselves in junk folders, so we’d recommend checking in there just to be sure.

  • Will I get my order on the weekend?

    Standard Delivery takes 3 - 5 working days, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays.

    If you have selected Express shipping, you may receive your Plantopia package on a Saturday.

  • How will my Plantopia product arrive?

    Your Plantopia ritual is delivered
    in a fully recyclable box and a cocoon of wheat pulp. Wheat
    pulp is a by-product of the wheat industry and can be
    disposed of in your home compost, recycled with paper or
    you can even use as a garden fertiliser.
    Wheat pulp is suitable for people with coeliac disease and gluten sensitivity.

  • What do I do if I've received the wrong products?

  • What do I do if I have missing products in my order?

  • Can I amend my order once it's been approved?

    Unfortunately we cannot amend orders once they have been placed and confirmed.

    We aim to ship out your Plantopia order from the warehouse as soon as possible so your order may be on it's way before the system refreshes.

    It's always worth emailing the team at hello@plantopialife.com with how you would like to amend your order as soon as possible, on the rare occasion we are able to change the order.

  • Can you send my package to a different address after I've ordered?

    In general, we are unable to make any changes to orders once they have been confirmed on our system.

    However, if you try emailing the team at hello@plantopialife.com, we may be able to help you if your order is not already on it's way.

  • Can I cancel my order after it's been dispatched?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel your order once it has been confirmed.

    We would advise that once you have received your parcel that it will need to be returned following the steps under 'How do I get a refund'.

    If you email the team at hello@plantopialife.com with proof of return, we will process a full refund when we receive the returned products.

  • How do I get a refund?

    You can get a full refund on all unused products with our 30 day guarantee.
    Once an order has been placed, unfortunately we are unable to amend the order.

    This includes:
    - Changing addresses
    - Amending the product selection in the order

    Return your item in its original condition including:
    - Your Name
    - Your Address
    - Order Number
    - Reason for Return

    Please ensure the products are wrapped securely and we recommend you use recorded delivery as we cannot accept liability for good lost in transit.

  • Are all Plantopia products Cruelty-free?

    Plantopia believes that beauty products should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements.

    All of our own brand cosmetic and personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.

  • Are all Plantopia products Vegan and Vegetarian?

    Yes, all Plantopia products are vegan and vegetarian.
    We don’t test on animals or use animal or animal-derived ingredients like lanolin, honey, beeswax, silk proteins, milk or keratin in any of our products. Which makes our formulations not only vegetarian but vegan-friendly, too.

  • What is Plantopia's formulation and ingredient principle?

    Your experience with a Plantopia product is critical to us. Every product formulation has been carefully considered and curated to give you a sensorial experience in supporting your moment of utopia.

    Plantopia actively respects, promotes and advocates change for the sustainability and biodiversity of our vast, interconnected eco-system.​

    ​​While we don’t formulate to a percentage natural target, all our formulas range between 88% - 98%, as well as being Leaping Bunny accredited and vegan friendly.

    ​Our vision is to shine a light on the sustainability of ingredient supply chains starting with our own. We are taking on this challenge in partnership with the Union for Ethical Biotrade (UEBT).

    In response to the people and planet challenges impacting the world we live in, we created the Plantopia Manifesto and identified five corresponding focus areas to help us to fulfil our vision and ambition for people and planet wellness – our Five Force Focus.     Plantopia formulates without parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals, phthalates, silicones, PEG, DMDM Hydantoin, sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Artificial Colours, GMO’s.

  • Why does Plantopia use essential oils?

    Plantopia uses the therapeutic power of plants, particularly adaptogens and essential oils, to enhance your wellbeing journey, providing support for mind, body and skin from the impact of stress.

    Plantopia’s fragrances are sophisticated, complex blends of essential oils and fragrance actives that link together energy, colour and intention to restore lost balance to mind, body and soul promoting holistic wellbeing. That’s why every Plantopia product (except our Food Supplements) contains an aromatherapeutic blend of essential oils.

  • Why does Plantopia use adaptogens?

    Plantopia uses the therapeutic power of plants, particularly adaptogens and essential oils, to enhance your wellbeing journey, providing support for mind, body and skin from the impact of stress.

    Adaptogens are plant ingredients that help your body resist stressors, whether physical, chemical or biological, by stimulating the body’s stress-protection. This increases our adaptability and ability to handle stress without side effects. The results can include reduced anxiety, better sleep, improved immune resistance, superior focus and concentration, faster recovery, antioxidant activity, or that feeling of general wellbeing. Plantopia harness these natural wonders which have been used for thousands of years in Chinese and Ayurevda practice.

  • Do you offer samples of your products?

    Unfortunately, we don’t offer Plantopia samples or travel sizes at the moment.

    Please contact us page or reach out on Plantopia socials (Instagram or Facebook) @plantopialife and we'll support you in discovering your journey to wellness.

  • What should I do if I have a reaction to a Plantopia product?

    We are very sorry to hear that you have reacted to your Plantopia product. Please stop using the product immediately.

    Product reactions can be very specific to an individual and can be triggered for a number of reasons and factors. We'd like to support you in understanding this so will need to ask you several questions. Please contact us either by phone, email or chat and we will guide you through the questions.   • I have sensitive skin, can I use Plantopia?

    If you have any history of skin sensitives or allergies please speak to your GP first and then carry out a patch test. The inside of your wrist or just behind your ear are the most commonly recommended spots to apply a small amount of product. Any redness, irritation or reaction here should let you know you need to avoid that product.

  • Are Plantopia products safe to use during pregnancy?

    Most of our products are safe to use while pregnant, if a product is not, this is specified on individual packaging. However, if you have any or concerns, please speak to your GP or midwife for medical advice.

    If our warnings do not state 'not suitable for use when pregnant' then the product contains just enough essential oils to be super effective, while remaining safe.

  • What is the shelf life of Plantopia products?

    Plantopia body and skincare products have a 3 year shelf life. While the Food Supplements have a 2 year shelf life.
    The period after opening varies from 6 - 12 months, this is shown on the back of the product with the Period After Opening symbol.

  • Where are Plantopia products made?

    Our products are created and manufactured in the UK.

  • Are Plantopia products safe for children?

    Plantopia formulations have not been developed
    for children or babies. Plantopia products contain essential oils, and
    some children may have unknown allergies or skin sensitives making the use of
    some certain essential oils not recommended. Therefore, we do not recommend
    using Plantopia products on children or babies.

  • Is your packaging recyclable?

    At least 93.6% of all packaging is curb-side recyclable. Please see each specific product information for full details.

  • What is Plantopia's plastic stance?

    All our packaging is carefully considered and our product componentry selection has been built to support functionality and/or for added protection.

    At least 65% of each product uses PCR. PCR plastic, is packaging that has being given a second life. We also remove plastic from the ocean equal to the weight of our PCR packaging usage.

    By using recycled plastic we can help protect our eco-system as it reduces the need to harvest from our earth. Also when recycling the plastic, we help prevent it from entering the waterways and landfills.

  • Why do we use virgin plastic?

    We always try to minimise the use of virgin plastic, however for some components it is necessary to use virgin plastic, for example on the likes of our pumps and some of our caps. This is due the component complexity and the mixed material construction needed in order to ensure a positive user application experience.

  • Is all packaging Post Consumer Recycled plastic?

    We use post-consumer recycled plastic where possible in order to minimize the usage of virgin plastic. PCR plastic, is packaging that has being given a second life. Where plastic has been used on our components, at least 65% of each product uses PCR.

  • Why do you use Glass for some of your packaging?

    Glass has been chosen as our main material in order to best protect product. Glass is an infinitely recyclable material, meaning it can be broken down, recycled and reassembled into new packaging.

  • Does your palm oil come from a sustainable source?

    At Plantopia we choose to use palm oil derivatives only where the palm oil used to create them has been sustainably sourced. Since 2004, the Roundtable On Sustainable Palm (RSPO) has been working to transform the palm oil industry to put it on a sustainable path. There are no easy answers to this complex issue, but we believe in the work, principles and goals of the RSPO and that banning it outright is not a sustainable solution for people or planet.

  • Is sustainability considered in your choice of ingredients?

    Absolutely! Plantopia is whole-heartily committed to sustainability, our People & Planet Positive manifesto informs, inspires and acts to activate, both our decision-making and goal setting while also holding us accountable for change. We don’t have all the answers right now, therefore our approach looks at progression not perfection, from small steps to significant strides, while ensuring total transparency every step of the way.

  • What is Ocean Waste Plastic (OWP)?

    OWP has partnered up with ReSea Project, a Danish company which removes plastic from oceans and rivers. They are operating in Indonesia which is the second largest contributor to ocean plastic pollution and is struggling with waste management.
    Their cleanup solution is community-driven. They engage people in local communities to help recover plastic waste that is polluting oceans and rivers. At the same time this allows them to raise awareness about plastic pollution and waste management among the communities to prevent plastic from ending up in nature.
    ReSea Project’s entire cleanup process is certified by the independent third party DNV. This ensures a high level of traceability that provides proof of the plastic's source and the following journey to ReSea Project’s sorting station via blockchain technology. From here the plastic waste is sorted, bale pressed and distributed for recycling and waste handling purposes.

  • Can I change the date of my subscription?

    Yes, simply go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage subscription” and follow these steps:
    Click “manage”
    Click “change upcoming order date”
    Select the new date you’d like your subscription to be created
    Please note: By selecting a new date, you will be creating your next order for that date, but there may be up to a 24 hour delay before it is processed. This will also change the shipping date for all your future orders. For example: You currently have a monthly subscription shipping on the 1st of every month. You change the date here to the 15th for your next order. Your future orders will now be created on the 15th of every month.

  • How do I change/view/update my card details for my subscription?

    Go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage subscription” and follow these steps:
    Click “manage”
    Click “view/update card” - here you will be able to see the card details you originally used to sign-up

    If you would like to update your payment details click “click here to update your credit card”

  • Can I update my address?

    Yes, simply go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage subscription” and follow these steps:
    Click “manage”
    Click “update address”

  • Can I change my delivery method?

    Yes, simply go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage Subscription” and follow these steps:

    Click “update shipping method”

  • Can I change the quantity of products I have ordered?

    Yes, simply go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage Subscription” and follow these steps:

    Click “product quantity” and adjust accordingly

  • Can I see all of my upcoming orders?

    Yes, simply go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage Subscription” and follow these steps:

  • Can I swap a product I'd like to recieve in my subscription?

    Yes, simply go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage Subscription” and follow these steps:

    Click “swap product”
    Choose the product you’d like to swap
    Please note: if you want to swap a product which is a lower or higher cost, you will be be notified in the account area what the difference is and we will adjust the amount we take on your next order.

  • Can I add products to my subscription?

    Yes, there are two ways to add a product to your subscription:
    A)
    Sign into your Plantopia account on the website
    Visit the product you want to add, below the “add to basket button”, simply press “add to subscription”
    B)
    Go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage Subscription” and follow these steps:
    Click “manage”
    Click “add product to subscription”
    Select the product you’d like to add to your subscription

  • Can I change the frequency of my subscription?

    Yes, go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage subscription” and follow these steps:
    Click “frequency”
    Change your frequency accordingly

  • Can I cancel my subscription?

    Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage Subscription” and follow these steps:

    Click “cancel subscription”

  • Can I skip my next order?

    Yes, you can skip your next order. Go to your account section of the Plantopia Website, click the button that says “Manage Subscription” and follow these steps:
    Click “order #1”
    Click “skip order” to the relevant order you want to skip

  • Can I use a coupon code for subscriptions?

    Yes, you are able to use eligible subscription coupon codes for Plantopia Subscriptions.
